About the Class:
Learn valuable interview and research techniques to collect true stories, and develop the skills to expand collected materials into dynamic performances. A series of short pieces will grow from various found materials such as newspapers, diaries, and letters. We will explore how they translate to the stage using both classical and experimental structures. The class is essential for playwrights, solo performers, filmmakers, historians, poets, and creative writers interested in writing authentic true-life stories.
