Public Cruises
Come catch a summer's breeze on our 45 minute public cruises. Bring the grandkids, your friends and relatives. Enjoy the beautiful, air-conditioned main salon. Grab a root beer or an ice cold beer at the galley and take it topside to our partially covered upper deck.
Listen to our recorded program telling you about the history of our area. Or, just enjoy the sun and breeze as you check out the beautiful Harrisburg Skyline and our majestic Susquehanna River!
Our daily Public Cruises begin sailing from May 27, 2011 to September 5, 2011.
Public Cruise Sail Times (Check website calendar for cruise availabilities):
Tuesday â Sunday: 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM
Monday: 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM
Regular Ticket Prices:
Adults (18-58): $9.00
Seniors (59+): $7.00
Kids (3âÂÂ12): $4.00
Kids under 3: FREE
Group Ticket Prices (30 or more passengers):
Adults and Seniors: $7.00
Kids (3-12): $3.00
Kids under 3: FREE
Where to Purchase Tickets:
Tickets may be purchased at the ticket booth (when open), or on the boat just before any Public Cruise. We do not accept reservations for Public Cruises, unless you are bringing a group of 30 or more, please call our office to make necessary arrangements.
Handicapped Accessible and Restrooms:
The City Island dock is wheelchair accessible, and there are restrooms available onboard.
Signature Food Galley and Bar:
The Pride features a Galley Snack Bar on board that features a great menu of items, including our NEW Signature Food Menu:

Chips/Pretzels ($1.00), Assorted Candy ($1.25), Assorted HersheyâÂÂs Ice Cream Novelty Treats ($1.50), Assorted Soda varieties ($1.50), Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate ($1.00), Draft Beer ($2.00), Draft Beer Pitcher ($7.00), Domestic Beer ($3.00), Import Beer ($4.00), Wine by the glass ($4.50), Bottled Water ($2.00), Personal Pizza ($2.75).
NEW Signature Galley Items:
The Original Susquehanna River Dog: a grilled foot long SmithâÂÂs Hotdog (specially shipped in from Erie, PA!) snuggled in a fresh grilled foot long roll, slathered with yellow mustard, covered with Wild BillâÂÂs National Award Winning Texas Chili, and topped with shredded cheese!
Chicken Salad Sliders:3 slider rolls with fresh-made chicken salad, served with tasty Kettle-Cooked Chips!
Susquehanna Banana: A delicious chocolate covered frozen banana!
Pirate BillâÂÂs Pirate Plank: Custom-made beef jerky
Parking:
You will be able to park in the City Island parking lots. During the week, you will have to pay to park on City Island. The cost will be $3.00 â $5.00 depending on the time of day. There is no charge on weekends or after 3:00 PM unless there is an afternoon/night Senators baseball game.
If you have those who have trouble walking, you may drop them off at our docks. Simply alert the parking attendant that you will be dropping off passengers at the Pride. You must then return the vehicle to the parking lot after dropping off others.
Capacity and Boarding:
The boatâÂÂs capacity is 120 passengers. Every cruise leaves on time, so please be prompt. Boarding begins around 15 minutes prior to sail time.
